Unfortunately the "castle" of Ramses II's father suffered the onslaught of years and the Theban population and 1 tower disappeared buried under houses built over time.
The houses of the present village define the site on its south eastern part. A portion of the boundary wall of mud brick is still standing Northwest sides.
The second Pylon and the royal palace were destroyed completions.
Beautiful date palms have replaced the columns of the two courts of the temple, of which only remain rare bases leveled arbitrarily placed lintels on the sand and some steles.
